About Stevie

Welcome to Future Dr. Stevie's independent publication launched in April 2025 by Stevie Inghram, M.S., YT, AWC, NMS-4 (She/They). Stevie brings a world of expertise to the topics of science, spirituality, and holistic medicine as a soon-to-be Naturopathic Physician (NMD) graduating in April 2026 and a current Yoga & Ayurvedic Therapist, Reiki Master, and Buddhist Teacher.

Stevie grew-up as a Christian Pastor's Kid struggling with their identity and faith. Later on in college, Stevie was plagued with high anxiety and panic attacks. It was at this point that she was intuitively drawn to both Yoga & Buddhism. One of the books that was formative in her spiritual development was Zen Master Thich Nhat Hanh's Living Buddha, Living Christ which she found to be an excellent bridge between her Christian upbringing and Dharmic curiosities.

Over the years, Stevie has developed a strong passion for Eastern philosophy and practice as all of these traditions seek to guide us into optimal well-being physically, mentally, and spiritually. Throughout the last 15 years, Stevie's curiosities of health, science, and spirituality deepened through exploration of these contemplative practices.

In her current clinical practice, Stevie combines the knowledge she has gained in Naturopathic Medical School along with her training as a Yoga & Ayurvedic Therapist where she teaches client's practical and sustainable tools for optimizing health and well-being.

Stevie is also the Co-Founder and Sangha Director at Daybreak Oneness an online Buddhist Sangha whose approach centers The Way of Oneness which is at the core of this philosophy and practice.

Beyond Stevie's clinical work, her life's work (Dharma), is primarily focused on researching, advocating, and amplifying the well-being of those in gender & sexually expansive communities (LGBTQIA+). This advocacy is rooted in both Yogic & Buddhist practice, primarily the teaching of Ahimsa, the act of actively disrupting harm in the world. This work is what inspired her favorite phrase, "Do no harm; take no shit."

Further, Stevie hosts Queer Story Time The Podcast which serves as a brave space of radical affirmation, acceptance, empowerment, and healing. You can catch the podcast across all major podcasting platforms and on YouTube.

Stevie can be followed across decentralized social media including both Mastodon, and Pixelfed; you can also find her on LinkedIn.
